Bodø 2024 has now officially begun! Really excited for what this year will bring for for our city now it is the European capital of culture. I was honoured to be asked by Deadline Media to do the sound design and mix on this video for the opening the ceremony. Make sure you watch it until the end....

This is a real nice series about youth from all different cultural backgrounds growing up in Norway and questioning everything from appearance, roots to identity. Its knitted together with some excellent music performances so its well worth checking out over at the NRK

Da Havet Tok Landet – Dokumentaren om Sandsundværulykka (Deadline Media)

Delighted to have mixed and undertaken some live recording on Deadline Media´s latest documentary film. It is all based in Helgeland, a the small fishing village of Sandsundvær with its highest point barely 6 meters above sea level. In January 1901, spring tides and stormy seas led to one of the worst accidents in Norwegian coastal history here. The Sandsundvær accident had major consequences for an entire local community, but what actually happened?

Calles gale verden (via Solito Lyd)

Just finished mixing the complete season of Calles Gale Verden, which has been nothing other than a joy. I really don't know what to say other than just watch the show and try tell me Calle Hellevang-Larsen is not the greatest. I can't recommend it enough so tune into TV Norge or catch up on the full series here at Discovery Plus.

Korps United (via Solito Lyd)

This is a really really good program and I would encourage anyone to watch it. It’s has everything from a brilliant cast, laugh out loud moments, powerful stories and of course lots and lots of music. 

The premiss of the program is that Sigrid Bonde Tusvik dreams of creating an inclusive marching band based solely of women from around the world. With no previous experience, they will learn their instruments from scratch with the goal of marching to the castle in Oslo on Norways national day, the 17th of may. However, this program also highlights some extremely important subjects including some extraordinary life stories, immigration and the struggles of living in a new country. Honestly, this one is well worth a watch. Catch up now on tv2.no

16 ukers helvete (via Solito Lyd)

Feels good to be kicking off the new year with the sound mix of “16 ukers helvete”. It’s a very good show and is defiantly one for those looking for tips on how to live a healthier life. Its even inspired me to renew my gym membership. However, you certainly don’t have to be into exercise and healthy eating to enjoy this one. Just watching the participants journeys in itself is fascinating. Tune in to TVNorge on Monday 10th January for the season premier.
